Welcome to OakGlenn Winery

How many of you can’t wait for Memorial Day weekend to get here? I know I am itchin’ for it to get here! Up here on the bluff we have another weekend of live entertainment for you to enjoy. On Saturday, Johnny Henry will be pickin’ away for your enjoyment. Johnny is a good ol’ country boy who brings the heart and soul of country music to life in his own unique way. On Sunday, Scottie Kemp hits the floor. Scottie plays a variety of rock and country classics for your enjoyment. Both shows start at 1pm and run til 5 or so. Both shows are free so there’s no reason for you not to here.
If you weren’t around last weekend for our Maifest concert featuring the band Borderline well all I can say is you missed a really good time. The weather was great, the view was awesome as always and there was plenty of good food and libations for everyone and their uncle. Oh and yes, the music had everyone on their feet dancing away.
With that in mind, you might remember that this event had a cover charge. If you followed my tweets and FB posts while I was here you know we DID NOT collect a cover charge for the event! You see, on one of our print ads we made a mistake and didn’t mention the cover charge. Because of this single discrepancy Glenn and Carol opted to drop it. Yep, we would rather eat our mistake than have a single person make their way here expecting a free event and then getting an unpleasant surprise at the gate. It’s not going to happen and yep that’s how we roll…..
I’ll have a video of the band Borderline up soon enough but until then you can check out pics of the concert in the photo gallery section. like what you see? Leave a comment!
As promised here’s a video of Borderline performing live during the Maifest celebration.
That’s it for now…
I’ll see ya on the bluff…

Live music events all Summer
Oh yeah, now we're cooking with gas. Of all the things I do around the winery taking pics of a Saturday evening concert is my favorite. Starting in May is when we kick things off. We start out easy with afternoon solo/duo acts on Saturdays and Sundays. Then we ramp things up with Saturday evening hell raisin', foot stompin', crank it up bands that hail from around the area. Ever hear of Kricket Alley, New Crime Theatre, or Rickie Lee Tanner? They're playin' here.
